How to use X-Sauce Gravel & Road
- Shake the product: Shake the can before use to ensure that the sealant particles are well mixed until the colour of the product is uniform.
- Positioning the bike or wheel: If possible, place the bike or wheel on a work stand to facilitate the process.
- Remove the valve core: Remove the valve core from the Presta valve. If your valve does not have a removable core, skip this step and pour the sealant directly into the open tyre before beading. You can also use the X-Sauce injector.
- Filling the tyre: Remember to shake the can well before filling the tyre. Place the valve in an upright position.
- Add the desired amount: Squeeze the canister to inject the recommended amount of sealant according to your tyre.
- Reinstall valve core: Put the valve core back in place.
- Inflate the tyre: Inflate the tyre to the desired pressure.
- Spin the wheel: Spin the bicycle wheel several times to distribute the sealant evenly inside the tyre.
- Shake the tyre: Shake the tyre from side to side to help the sealant spread along the tyre walls.
- Check tyre pressure: Check tyre pressure regularly and add more sealant if necessary.
- Sealant replacement: It is recommended to replace the sealant 3-6 months.
- Cleaning: If sealant smears, wipe it off as soon as possible with water and a cloth. Do not allow the sealant to dry before cleaning.
- Before using X-Sauce Gravel & Road, be sure to read the instructions and remove any other sealant that may be present in the tyre.
